UNITY - Intensive Parent Training since 2007
- For select parents of children with ASD, under five years eight months
- Provides high-quality intensive ABA training to selected parents so they can effectively teach their children
- Parent and child attend together five mornings per week for 12 weeks
- Monthly follow-up consultation group

How to Enrol your Child in Unity
If you want your child's name on our Unity waitlist, first
- Tour The Summit Centre - we want parents to see our program before they decide if it is what they want for their child
- Give us a copy of a note from a physician, psychologist or speech and language pathologist saying the child has a diagnosis or suspicion of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attend the two day ABA workshop (mandatory)
For Parents Deciding about Enrolling Their Child
- Must attend two day ABA Workshop put on by The Summit Centre
- Participation at workshop will be taken into account
- Understand that a support person must be in attendance at workshop to be eligible
- Modest user fee (based on family income)
- Must attend with their child for three months, five days per week, three hours a day
- Understand that there is a wait-list for Unity - Intensive Parent Training
- Want to learn the theory and hands-on practice of how to;
- Develop and carry out a home based ABA program
- How to work with your child and others
- How to hire/supervise staff for your program
- Able to come to monthly parent group (usually the fourth Monday of the month)
- Would be able to volunteer at The Centre or be a parent consultant for next Unity group
